Northern Uganda Social Action Fund (NUSAF) 3 is a Government of Uganda and World Bank funded project currently being implemented in 55 districts of Northern Uganda and coordinated by the Office of the Prime Minister.
The objectives of NUSAF 3 are;
- To provide effective household income support to and build Resilience of the poor and vulnerable household in Northern Uganda
- To enhance transparency and accountability in public service delivery in Northern
Uganda - To strengthen Institutional Capacity to implement, Monitor and Evaluate the project at all levels.
From the inception in the financial year 2016/2017, the district has injected UGX 2,673,002,730 within the Communities. UGX 1,755,649,000 has been spent on 101 Improved Household Income Support Program (IHISP) Sub Projects and UGX 917,353,730 on eight (8) Labor-intensive Public Works sub projects (LIPW).
