The National Agricultural Advisory Services (NAADS) since July 2014 underwent a national reform that gave birth to Operational Wealth Creation (OWC).
From the inception agricultural inputs worth UGSX 5,369,643,776 has been supplied to the district that cover both the current district of Pakwach and Nebbi. The inputs supplied included beans, rice, maize, cassava stems, mango seedlings, citrus seedlings, coffee seedlings, tea seedlings, beef cattle, fish fingerlings, feeds and hoes which benefited 61,786 people with 14,579 acres of land planted.
The district has a stakeholder’s forum that regularly meets to approve supplies and allocation to LLGs in line with the Standing Procedures of Operation (SOP). There are also functional receiving committees at LLG level that handle the distribution of inputs to beneficiaries at the LLG level.
